tuesday post #2

Was too tired to blog when I reached home yesterday.

Anyway, I was having this random, weird nightmare about some evil witch dropping some girl into a big pot of hot lava, when I heard my handphone ring. Phew.

It was Jieying, who decided to suddenly ask me out for dinner. Apparently she just knocked off work and had to go for piano lessons after dinner.

So we decided to eat at the food court at Causeway Point. Not surprisingly, it has really changed quite a bit, seeing as I haven't been there for like more than six months. My favourite stall is gone too! No more stir fried venison with fried rice!

I had to take the train to Bugis after dinner, because I was to meet Xinhuan and the others there. Oh and I took the chance to wear my new black cardigan! Somehow I feel that I'm attracting a lot of attention. But maybe I'm thinking too much.

I reached Bugis and met Xin, then we went up to the arcade to find Mey and Dan, who apparently was busy playing King of Fighters. Walked around in the noisy arcade while waiting for Dan to finish his game. Finally, we walked out of the arcade, where the noise pollution was reaching a level high enough to hurt my ears, and went across the road to some random hawker centre to eat. And it was sweltering hot and stuffy there, apparently the fans stationed there didn't help one bit.

The four of us went to The Coffee Connoisseur to sit down and chat. I was a bit annoyed at the fact that the TCC that we chose didn't serve soups or main courses, only snacks/desserts/drinks. In the end, I didn't eat anything, and we just sat down and chatted about boring game strategies, which I find that we do a lot whenever we meet up. I mean seriously, can't we do anything else?

Mey left early, as he didn't want to spend hours sitting down theorycrafting game strategies. We finally left at like 11pm, and me and Xin went to take the train while Dan headed for the bus stop. Chatted with Xin and we finally went separate ways.

Once again, I noticed that people were staring at me on the train. There must be something on my face, or seriously I'm way too cute. Sorry couldn't resist.

The way people find love, is like searching for something they know they can never discover. Yet when they finally find it, it's as if the novelty has disappeared, and the feeling's lost.
